Interlibrary Loan
Use our Interlibrary Loan service to request a book or journal article that is not available at Tuzzy Library or in the Alaska Library Catalog.
Before placing a request, please check the Library Catalog which provides access to over 6 million items.

FAQs
You may borrow most items that libraries typically lend such as books, DVDs, and articles.
We recommend that you do not request current textbooks or new books or DVDs that have been published in the last 6 months as these are almost never available via Interlibrary Loan. To request new materials for purchase, you may email your request to tuzzy@tuzzy.org.
The average turn-around time for an ILL request is about three weeks.
ILL is a free service for all Tuzzy Library patrons including Iḷisaġvik College students, faculty, and staff. However, if ILL materials are not returned on time patrons will be subject to fines and fees from the lending library.
The circulation period for items borrowed through ILL varies and is determined by the lending library.
